3 Mars Bars (about 150g total)
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 cups (120g) rice bubbles or rice crispies
200g milk chocolate, chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Step 1: Prepare Mars Bars
Chop the Mars Bars into small pieces. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped Mars Bars and unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
Step 2: Mix with Rice Bubbles
Stir in the rice bubbles or rice crispies until well coated with the melted Mars Bar mixture.
Step 3: Form Truffles
Roll the mixture into small truffle-sized balls and place them on a lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up.
Step 4: Coat with Chocolate
In a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water, melt the milk chocolate and vegetable oil, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, coating it completely. Place the coated truffles back onto the lined baking sheet.
Step 5: Chill and Serve
Refrigerate the coated truffles for another 20-30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set. Serve and enjoy!
